“Nevada Democrats are going to work tirelessly every single day until November 6, 2018 to remove Senator Heller from office”

Las Vegas, NV – Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Stewart Boss released the following statement today on Republican Senator Dean Heller’s deciding vote in favor of repealing the Affordable Care Act and moving forward with the GOP’s health care agenda:

“Senator Dean Heller is so extreme and so loyal to Trump’s agenda that he just cast the deciding vote to move forward on gutting the Affordable Care Act and throwing tens of thousands of Nevada families under the bus. This vote is impossible to defend, and it shows once again that Senator Heller is nothing more than a lazy rubber stamp for Washington Republicans. As a Senator, Dean Heller has consistently voted more than 20 times to attack and undermine affordable health care for our state. It’s clear today that Senator Heller is not listening to Nevadans, he lied to us about his concerns, and he needs to be held accountable. Nevada Democrats are going to work tirelessly every single day until November 6, 2018 to remove Senator Heller from office.”
