NV Dems Slam Trump White House Surrendering to the Pandemic As Nevada COVID Cases Spike

In response to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows saying today that the Trump administration is “not going to control the pandemic,” Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Madison Mundy released the following statement:

“Mark Meadows’ statement that the Trump White House is giving up on controlling the pandemic is a slap in the face to Nevada families who are still reeling from this crisis. As the Trump administration admits defeat, hundreds of thousands of Nevadans are out of jobs and wondering how they’ll make ends meet, while more than 1,700 have lost their lives to the virus. To make matters worse, cases are once again surging in Nevada and across the country. Meanwhile, Trump sabotaged coronavirus relief negotiations to get Nevada families the help they need to make it through this crisis and is instead spending his time attempting to overturn the Affordable Care Act. Nevadans deserves better than Trump’s backwards priorities and in just nine days, they’ll send leaders like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House to get this crisis under control.”
