We are thrilled to have U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren as our keynote speaker at this year’s Nevada State Democratic Party convention in Reno! Join us at the Grand Sierra Resort on Saturday, June 23rd at 9am to hear remarks. Sen. Warren’s remarks are open to the public and will begin at 9 AM, so be sure to arrive early to grab a seat!

Call to Convention
Pursuant to the authority provided by the Charter and Bylaws of the Nevada State Democratic Party, as approved by the Rules and Bylaws Committee of the Nevada State Democratic Party, the Nevada State Democratic Central Committee (SCC) hereby calls a State Convention to convene at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 23rd in Reno, Nevada.
The State Convention shall elect 14 at-large members to the Executive Committee (eight from Clark County, four from Washoe County, and two from the remaining counties); adopt a party platform; elect a State Central Committee; and conduct any other business placed by the Nevada State Democratic Party Chair. All Delegates and Alternates to the State Convention must be registered Democrats residing in the county they are representing at the convention. All Delegates and Alternates must have been elected at their respective County Conventions on either February 24 or April 14, 2018. The Nevada State Democratic Party may solicit a voluntary contribution from attendees to the State Convention, but under no circumstances shall a contribution be mandatory for participation.
In-person registration for the State Convention shall be open on Friday, June 22 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 23 from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Reno, Nevada. Delegates and Alternates must register in-person by 12:00 PM on Saturday. Pre-registration is available and will end at 12:00 AM (midnight) on Friday, June 22. All online pre-registrants must also check-in during the in-person registration period to receive their credential.
