NV Dems Announce Keep Nevada Blue Dinner in Reno

by Nevada Democrats

After achieving historical gains up and down the ballot in Nevada last cycle, NV Dems is hosting a new annual event to celebrate our achievements, honor our elected Democrats and start the work of building on our resources to win again in 2020 and beyond.

On Saturday, September 28th in Reno, NV Dems will be joined by U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen along with Lieutenant Governor Kate Marshall to thank our Democratic community for their support and the countless hours they dedicated to making phone calls, knocking on doors, and texting voters across Nevada.

“Nevada hasn’t always been a competitive battleground state, but through hard work and a dogged field operation, we came together and elected the first Latina to the U.S. Senate, flip a U.S. Senate seat, elect a Democrat to the Governor’s mansion in more than 20 years, and flip five of our six constitutional offices,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair William McCurdy II. “This new annual event is an opportunity to thank our supporters, honor our dedicated elected members, and remind our Democratic community everything at stake in this upcoming election. Now is not the time to rest on our laurels, it’s time we double down on our efforts from 2016 and 2018 to keep Nevada blue in 2020 to achieve our most important goal--reclaim the Oval Office.”
