After months of pressure, Brown finally shows his true MAGA alliances
After months of pressure from his fellow MAGA primary opponents, Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidate Sam Brown finally caved and endorsed Donald Trump for president today – in an exclusive to far-right Breitbart News – after dodging questions for his entire campaign about his support for the disgraced former president who lost Nevada twice.
Despite openly backing Trump during his failed 2022 Senate bid, Brown had kept quiet about his loyalty to Trump this cycle. His campaign even went as far as to say in August that Brown “won’t endorse in any Republican primary this cycle, including the presidential contest.”
But after months of unrelenting pressure from his GOP primary opponents – including a 30 second attack ad from Dr. Jeff Gunter about “Never Trump” Sam Brown and calls to endorse from Jim Marchant – Brown finally showed where his true alliances lie: with Donald Trump and the far right MAGA wing of his party. This news also comes the same week as Trump once again bragged about his role in overturning Roe v. Wade – telling Fox News “I did it, and I’m proud to have done it.”
