In his latest attempt to spin his failing record, Joe Lombardo is bragging about having only the second worst economy in the nation and weirdly claiming Nevada’s unemployment rate “remains competitive nationally.” In reality, Nevada’s unemployment is among the highest in the nation at a whopping 5.2% all while Nevadans pay the highest grocery, gas, and housing costs in the nation.
And the “pain” that Lombardo promised from his boss, Donald Trump’s economic agenda is only getting worse. As tourists continue to turn away from Las Vegas, passenger traffic at Harry Reid International Airport continues its decline for the 16th month in a row.
