Reno Gazette Journal: Nevada named one of the worst states to move to by Consumer Affairs
Associated Press: Obamacare rolls shrank dramatically in many states over the past year, new federal data shows
Welcome back to your weekly rundown of the damage the Lombardo-Trump economy is doing to Nevada — from driving up costs to leaving working families behind.
While Joe Lombardo’s campaign claims “our economy is moving in the right direction,” Nevada was named one of the worst states to move to and homelessness in Clark County is up 12% since 2024 — the highest level since the Great Recession. Like his boss Donald Trump, Lombardo has blocked bipartisan legislation that would have lowered the cost of housing for Nevadans.
After Lombardo celebrated Trump’s harmful budget bill, over 50,000 Nevadans have already been kicked off of their health care as premiums continue to skyrocket — with more projected to lose coverage still. While Lombardo told Nevadans to “feel a little pain” from Trump’s cost-raising agenda, everything from health care to cost of living and groceries are unaffordable for working families.
