Las Vegas Review-Journal: Nevadans close to breaking point with gas prices
8 News Now: Nevada named one of the worst states for working moms
Welcome back to your weekly rundown of the damage the Lombardo-Trump economy is doing to Nevada — from driving up costs to leaving working families behind.
Although Joe Lombardo’s out-of-touch campaign claims that “our economy is moving in the right direction”, Nevadans are “close to [a] breaking point” with rising prices, especially the soaring cost of gas thanks to Donald Trump’s war with Iran, which continues with no end in sight. Always caving to Trump’s reckless agenda, Lombardo said the president is doing a “fantastic job” even though Nevadans are drowning in record-high gas, grocery, and health care bills. With the Lombardo-Trump economy in freefall, it’s no wonder that Joe Lombardo is “concerned” about keeping his seat.
While Joe Lombardo tries (and fails) to spin his record, Nevada was named one of the worst states for working moms under his failed leadership, all while unemployment is now higher than when Lombardo took office.
