Fox 5: Nevada Democrats criticize gas and diesel prices under ‘Lombardo-Trump economy’
CNBC: Inflation on many everyday items was entirely due to tariffs, NY Fed says
Welcome back to your weekly rundown of the damage the Lombardo-Trump economy is doing to Nevada — from driving up costs to leaving working families behind.
While Attorney General Aaron Ford brought his message of lowering costs directly to voters on the debate stage, Joe Lombardo continues to hide behind Donald Trump and his billionaire funded ads. On Lombardo’s watch, gas and diesel prices are at record highs, small businesses are suffering, and Nevadans’ health care plans will see double-digit rate increases again as new analysis shows that the Trump tariffs Lombardo supports — and said Nevadans should “feel a little pain” from — are solely responsible for costs going up.
Despite Lombardo’s desperate attempts to spin his failing record, Nevadans know that Donald Trump and his doormat are responsible for dragging our state into this economic crisis with no end in sight.
