Nevada Republicans Running for Senate Enter Week of Chaos and Infighting

Insults fly as Nevada’s GOP Senate candidates enter a chaotic week in the national spotlight

This week, the Presidential preference primary and the ill-fated caucus fiasco will put the Nevada Republican Party’s chaos on full display – and the messy Senate GOP primary is no exception.

Catch up on the recent infighting and Trump-focused mayhem in the Nevada GOP Senate primary:

  • After caving to pressure from his primary opponents, Sam Brown is working overtime to make his late-in-the-game support for Donald Trump known – hosting GOTV events for the disgraced former president in Las Vegas this week.
  • During a recent radio interview, Jeff Gunter called out “Scam” Brown, saying “they’re not gonna let some DC elite team of individuals from DC ram someone like Scam Brown down the throats of Nevadans.” Gunter also called Sam Brown a “puppet of Mitch McConnell” whose “handlers just have him hiding.”
  • Tony Grady accused Brown of thinking “he can rest on the backing of D.C. elites to get him across the finish line.”
  • When asked directly during an interview “what has Sam Brown done?” Jim Marchant hit back: “nothing.”

Trump is the catalyst of the GOP primary chaos, as every candidate desperately vies for his support by endorsing the disgraced former president, embracing the NVGOP’s scheme to rig the caucus for Trump, and aligning themselves with his extreme MAGA agenda that has already been rejected by Nevadans twice.
