Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement on the anniversary of the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting:
“Nine years after the worst tragedy struck our Vegas community, we remember the lives taken and the families, loved ones, and survivors forever changed by the deadliest mass shooting in American history. We honor those we lost and stand with all those who continue to carry the impact of that terrible day.
“Gun violence has touched far too many families and communities across our state and our country. We will continue in our pursuit of common-sense gun violence prevention measures that will help make Nevada communities safer. In memory of those we lost, Nevada Democrats remain committed to doing everything we can to prevent another tragedy like this from ever happening again.”
