Brown rejects bill supported by Border Patrol union, continues to put self-serving politics over bipartisan solutions for Nevada
As Senators gear up to vote on advancing the bipartisan border security package today, here’s your reminder that MAGA extremist Sam Brown followed Donald Trump’s lead in opposing the deal before the text of the bill was even released.
After the bill was released on Sunday, Sam Brown doubled down on immediately opposing this widely supported bipartisan plan that would secure our southern border, crack down on the flow of deadly drugs like fentanyl, and take critical steps to fix our broken and severely backlogged immigration system.
Brown’s partisan opposition now puts him at odds with the National Border Patrol Council, the acting chief of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and key Senate Republicans who all support the bipartisan package.
It’s a growing pattern for Brown of self-serving politics and rejecting bipartisanship. Brown also opposes the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that is delivering thousands of good-paying jobs and billions in federal funding for projects to fix Nevada’s roads, modernize airports, and expand access to affordable high-speed internet across the state.
