It’s been a month since unearthed audio captured Assembly Deputy Minority Whip Danielle Gallant blatantly admitting that Joe Lombardo’s entire endorsed slate of legislative candidates are lying to voters by posing as moderates to get elected while actually being MAGA extremists. Gallant exposed that while she and Lombardo love “[those] MAGA-MAGA Republican(s)” they “need candidates that present moderate, even though they are very conservative” to win “squishy districts.”
It makes sense that Lombardo’s slate of endorsed state legislative candidates is bending the knee to Trump, even if some are trying to hide it ahead of November. After refusing to endorse Trump for the Republican nomination, Lombardo himself turned around and participated in the rigged-for-Trump caucus days after his largest donor started paying Trump’s legal bills.
“Republican Assembly leadership said the quiet part out loud: their entire slate of candidates are MAGA extremists pretending to be moderate in order to get elected. In the era of election denial and attempts to steal fair and free elections, Nevadans deserve to know the truth about Republicans’ extreme and out-of-touch agenda,” said Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Claudia Alvarado.
