Brown supported MAGA efforts to overturn the 2020 election and throw out Nevada’s votes, claimed January 6 rioters were showing “patriotic expression”
In the final 7 days leading up to the November election, we’re highlighting MAGA extremist Sam Brown’s 7 most extreme plans that will harm hardworking Nevadans.
On the final day before the election, we’re looking at Brown’s record as an extreme election denier who has pushed to overturn Nevadans’ votes and echoed dangerous conspiracy theories about the results of the 2020 election in order to help Donald Trump.
Brown has proven time and again that he will always put Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda ahead of our democracy. His extreme record includes:
- Supporting MAGA efforts to overturn the 2020 election and throw out Nevada’s votes.
- Spreading baseless conspiracy theories about the legitimate results of the 2020 election, saying he had “a lot of questions” about President Biden’s victory in Nevada, and expressing support for “audits” long after President Biden was inaugurated.
- Downplaying the violence of the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol that led to the deaths of five police officers, claiming that the violent rioters were showing a “patriotic expression” of their “love of country.”
- Failing repeatedly to answer and equivocate on questions about whether the 2020 presidential election was stolen or if the January 6 insurrection violated the peaceful transfer of power.
- Declining to accept the outcome of the Nevada U.S. Senate race unless both he and President Trump win.
- Receiving at least $50,000 in campaign contributions from radical right-wing organizations that helped craft Project 2025 – a far-right playbook to further undermine America’s democracy.
- Project 2025 would also impose extreme and harmful policies on Nevadans, like eliminating the Department of Education and restarting Yucca Mountain as a nuclear waste repository – both of which are policies that Sam Brown has expressed support for.
