Gunter directly attacks “Scam Brown” for flip-flopping from criticizing McConnell and special interests to financing his campaign on their dime
The messy Nevada Senate GOP primary just keeps getting messier. Former Trump Ambassador Jeff Gunter launched a scathing new ad today attacking NRSC-backed Senate candidate Sam Brown for his flip-flop from criticizing Mitch McConnell and the DC Swamp to being their handpicked candidate and financing his campaign on their dime.
Gunter’s ad directly criticizes Brown for being a “loser” and “bought and paid for RINO” who is “beholden to his special interest donors first and putting you last.” It also highlights Brown’s attempts to appeal to Republican grassroots donors while being backed by Mitch McConnell and a super PAC funded almost exclusively by a MAGA billionaire mega-donor, even though he previously said that he doesn’t trust McConnell.
This comes just months after Gunter released an ad attacking Brown for dodging questions about the 2024 presidential primary – despite Brown’s unequivocal past support for Donald Trump during his failed Senate campaign last year.
