In May, the Nevada State Democratic Party hosted the 2024 First in the West State Convention where Speaker Emerita Pelosi made clear Nevada will lead the nation to victory in November. DNC Chair Jaime Harrison also headlined the star-studded event saying, “Nevada is setting the standard for what it means to organize, engage, and deliver results. This state is going to be key in making sure we secure a victory in November.”
Next week, NV Dems and our national delegation will travel to Chicago to formally nominate Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for president. Nevada was the first state she visited in 2024, the first battleground state to echo President Biden’s endorsement of Vice President Harris, and the first early primary battleground state to unanimously pledge its delegates to Vice President Harris. This battleground state is uniquely equipped to deliver the White House for Vice President Harris and the Western Wall will be essential to Harris’ path to victory.
