President Biden heads to Nevada to discuss lowering costs as yet another drug company announces plans to heed his calls to lower insulin prices
As President Biden visits the Silver State today to discuss his progress lowering prescription drug costs, the contrast with the GOP couldn’t be more clear: President Biden and Nevada Democrats like Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto are leading on lowering drug costs, while MAGA Republicans have put forward plans to raise them.
Every single Republican in Congress voted AGAINST the Inflation Reduction Act — historic legislation that caps the cost of insulin for seniors on Medicare at $35 a month.

House Republicans have pledged to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act — an action that would raise prescription drug costs on millions of Americans.
Axios: “Some key House Republicans are calling for the repeal of Democrats’
newly-passed drug pricing measure if the GOP flips control of one or both
chambers of Congress next year.”
This comes after GOP senators went out of their way to strip out a provision from the Inflation Reduction Act that also would have capped the cost of insulin at $35 a month for Americans on private insurance.
