“Because of Voters in Nevada, Democrats Won the U.S Senate”: Senator Catherine Cortez Masto Headlines Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention

On day three of the Democratic National Convention, all eyes were on Nevada as the first and only Latina to serve as a U.S. Senator, Catherine Cortez Masto, took center stage.

A dedicated leader who previously served the Silver State as Attorney General, Senator Cortez Masto made the case for another former Attorney General, now Vice President, who defines strong leadership. From taking on big banks, to protecting the southern border, to fighting human traffickers, Senator Cortez Masto knows what it means to stand up for justice. She let millions of Americans know that Vice President Kamala Harris is the leader we need to hold Donald Trump accountable and keep moving our country forward.

NV Dems also hosted our national delegation for a breakfast that included the Honorable Xavier Becerra, Mini Timmaraju of Reproductive Freedom for All, Pennsylvania Governor, Josh Shapiro, Colorado Governor, Jared Polis, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, and of course, Nevada’s very own U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto.
