Following Vice President Harris’ ninth visit to Las Vegas alongside a third visit from Governor Tim Walz to Reno, Donald Trump came to town and questioned Nevadans’ values and rambled about cows and windows in Henderson.
Below is a rundown of some of Trump’s worst lowlights from his latest visit to Nevada:
- Trump promised to “secure our elections,” despite inciting an insurrection after losing the 2020 election.
- He said, “[Harris] is going to drive out all the jobs that I created.” The Biden-Harris administration created more than 285,000 good-paying jobs in Nevada after Trump’s mishandling of COVID cost thousands of jobs.
- Trump continues to spew baseless lies about immigrants, saying “You cannot get into a hospital, by the way. Because the migrants have all the beds. You cannot get into a hospital. You cannot get your kids into a school because there are migrants there that don’t even speak the language.” Nevadans do in fact have access to care in hospitals and children can go to school.
- He insulted Reno residents by questioning “Your values in Reno… Can I talk about great values in Reno? I’m not sure everyone’s going to believe that one.” Trump’s values are out of touch with Nevadans’.
- Trump rambled about cows and windows saying “They wanna do things like no cows.”
- He bragged that Hispanics had high household incomes and low poverty under his administration. Fact Check: the Latino community has seen “further improvement in their [economic] fortunes” under the Biden-Harris Administration.
