This weekend, President Barack Obama alongside NV Dems and the Harris-Walz campaign kicked off the first weekend of in-person early voting with a packed rally in North Las Vegas. On Saturday, members of the Nevada Latino Legislative Caucus joined NV Dems to cast their ballots at Cardenas Market, marking the start of early voting. On Sunday, NV Dems and Congressman Steven Horsford hosted multiple block parties at the Walnut and Pearson Community Centers, encouraging Nevadans to vote early for Democrats up and down the ballot. These events focused on engaging voters in the heart of Black and Latino communities, building momentum ahead of the election.
In Reno, NV Dems mobilized voters with as part of the Harris-Walz ‘Fighting for Reproductive Freedom’ Bus Tour and the Women’s March, spotlighting the importance of protecting reproductive rights in Nevada. Supporters gathered to advocate for Yes on 6, a measure to enshrine abortion rights into the state constitution, underscoring the critical choices facing voters this election season.
