ICYMI: Sam Brown Caught Hiding Texas Business Registration From Nevada Voters

After moving from Texas and immediately trying to run for office in Nevada, it appears Sam Brown is trying to hide his Texas roots from Silver State voters.

KTVN reported yesterday that Brown failed to disclose his Texas business on his personal financial disclosure forms during both his current and 2022 bids for Senate in apparent violation of federal law.

Brown has repeatedly tried to downplay his long-standing Texas ties – despite saying during his losing bid for Texas House that “it will literally take an act of God to get me out of Texas.”

It’s the second time in the past two weeks that Brown has been caught trying to hide critical information from Nevadans. He recently faced a DOJ complaint over his failure to disclose his role as Chairman and President of a radical anti-choice organization in another apparent violation of federal law.

Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw
“First Sam Brown tried to hide his leadership role at an anti-choice organization, now he’s trying to hide his Texas business and long-standing ties to the state that he only recently left so that he could run for office again. Nevadans will see the truth that Brown is another out-of-state politician who will say or do anything to get elected.”
