Brown, who refused to support IVF, has been caught red handed fundraising with the Senator who single-handedly blocked federal IVF protections
MAGA extremist Sam Brown has been caught red-handed fundraising with the Senator who single-handedly blocked federal protections for IVF treatments.
Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith blocked legislation to federally protect access to IVF and other assisted reproductive services for women nationwide, but that hasn’t stopped Brown from using her to bankroll his campaign. Hyde-Smith has already donated $5,000 to Brown’s campaign, and is now directly fundraising for her “friend” Sam Brown.
Brown has refused to support federal protections IVF, even when asked directly. Over the past decade, Brown has made his opposition to abortion rights clear, whether it’s repeatedly supporting abortion bans with no exceptions for rape or incest, strongly supporting efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade, and saying he would only vote for anti-choice Supreme Court justices and federal judges, or declaring that his anti-abortion position is “non-negotiable.”
Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Katharine Kurz
“Anti-abortion extremists like Sam Brown have paved the way for cruel and extreme restrictions on reproductive health care – and now he is actively fundraising with the Republican Senator who is responsible for blocking federal protections for fertility care. We won’t let Nevada voters forget that while pro-choice champions like Jacky Rosen fight for a woman’s right to make her own family planning decisions, Sam Brown continues to stand between Nevadans and their ability to choose how and when to start a family.”
