MAGA extremist Sam Brown has been busy this week rubbing elbows with some of the most extreme members of his party. Here’s a look back at some of the far-right figures Brown brought to town to try and save his flailing campaign – even ones he publicly trashed just last cycle.
Brown started off the week campaigning with Senator Lindsey Graham.
Graham has introduced federal abortion bills in almost every Congress since 2013. Sam Brown may give this anti-choice extremist a thumbs up, but Nevada certainly doesn’t!
Brown then hosted a “talk” with far-right commentator and fellow anti-abortion extremist Ben Shapiro.
Shapiro has compared abortion to slavery and called Social Security a Ponzi scheme. Makes sense that Brown would invite Shapiro since Brown has an extreme anti-abortion record and praised a radical plan to phase out Social Security in just five years!
Today, Brown is cozying up to Senator Tom Cotton, who he previously called a “creature” of DC’s “swamps.”
Cotton is another anti-abortion extremist who also voted to cut billions in Medicare funding – but Brown hasn’t always been so fond of him.
During his last failed Senate bid, Brown slammed Cotton as a “creature” of one of Washington DC’s “swamps.”
This time around, Brown is more than happy to proudly campaign with Cotton – another politician who shares Brown’s extreme anti-choice, anti-Social Security record and anti-Medicare record.
Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Katharine Kurz
“By cozying up to extreme figures like Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotton, and Ben Shapiro, Brown is once again proving that he is too MAGA for Nevada. All week, Brown has shown he will say or do anything to get elected, and that includes bringing far-right figures into our state in a desperate attempt to save his struggling campaign.”
