After No Show Joe disregarded Nevadans’ health and safety and skipped an oversight hearing investigating his bombshell Boring Company scandal and a slew of other negative press to kick off the new year, Joe Lombardo’s PAC took to the airwaves in a desperate and obvious attempt to change the narrative. As the most vulnerable incumbent in the nation, Lombardo will try anything to distract from his cost-raising agenda without any accomplishments of his own.
Lombardo has already proved where his priorities are as governor when he gave a company owned by the richest man in the world “blatant special treatment,” launched his doomed reelection bid during the worst cyberattack in state history, and jetted off to a high-dollar D.C. fundraiser the very same week that hundreds of thousands of Nevadans lost SNAP benefits and saw their health care premiums skyrocket.
Under Lombardo’s disastrous leadership, tourism is plummeting, grocery costs are soaring, and home prices hit an all-time high. While Nevadans are drowning in sky-high costs, Lombardo refuses to stand up to Donald Trump and D.C. Republicans’ failing agenda, even saying that Nevadans should “feel a little pain” from Trump’s tariffs and be “excited” about the Republicans’ Big Budget Betrayal that skyrocketed health care costs for 115,000 Nevadans.
Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Kate Sosland released the following statement:
“After getting caught in the middle of a bombshell scandal on top of owning a worsening economic crisis, it’s no surprise that Joe Lombardo’s first ad isn’t about his accomplishments — because he has none.”
