As Brown desperately attempts to win over the MAGA base, he is lashing out at his primary opponents and working overtime to tie himself to Donald Trump. Brown, who just months ago refused to endorse Trump, has since gone all-in, embarking on a right-wing media tour praising Trump’s leadership, saying Trump is the reason he’s running for Senate, and even flying to Mar-a-Lago to beg for Trump’s endorsement directly.

BROWN REFUSES TO SUPPORT PROTECTIONS FOR NEVADA’S MORE THAN 11,000 DREAMERS
Over the weekend, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Sam Brown refused to support widely popular plans to protect the more than 11,000 Nevadans who benefit from Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Brown’s callous refusal to support DACA would put thousands of young people who have only ever known America as their home at risk of deportation and negatively impact Nevada’s economy.
Earlier this year, Brown publicly opposed the Bipartisan Border Security Deal before the text was even released and doubled down on his opposition despite support for the agreement from Border Patrol agents working to secure the border.
Sam Brown refusing to stand up against the threat of deportation for the thousands of DACA recipients who call Nevada home is not surprising. He continues to prove that he’s more interested in playing politics than fixing our broken immigration system.
