Since launching his third doomed campaign nearly one year ago, Sam Brown has proven time and time again that he’s deeply out of step with Nevadans on key issues that will continue to define the 2024 election.

- Brown was exposed for his decade-long anti-abortion stance, which includes:
- repeatedly supporting banning abortion without exceptions for rape or incest, including a Texas law that had some of the toughest abortion restrictions in the country.
- getting caught on tape saying that he “would not vote for someone who would continue to support Roe v. Wade” and stated that he will only support Justices who “understand the importance of protecting Life.
- trying to cover up his role as Nevada president of a radical anti-abortion organization that called Roe v. Wade a “moral atrocity” and supported Texas’ six-week abortion ban
- getting caught “quietly” attending a gala for Nevada Right to Life, a radical anti-choice group that “opposes abortion at all stages of pregnancy” and has praised abortion bans without exceptions for rape or incest.
- fundraising off of his support for Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville’s anti-choice blockade of hundreds of senior military officers
- Brown faced an FEC complaint over his shady PAC that he created in 2022 to “help elect Republicans” but was instead used almost entirely to pay off his own losing campaign debts – “a move one campaign finance expert likened to using the PAC as a ‘slush fund.’”
- Brown was caught on tape calling reopening Yucca Mountain for nuclear waste storage an “incredible opportunity.” Brown’s widely unpopular support for Yucca Mountain – considered to be “a third rail in Nevada politics” –put him at odds with scientific, business, and Nevada political leaders in both parties.
- Brown praised Rick Scott’s widely criticized plan to phase out Social Security and Medicare after five years, taking away a program that provides critical assistance to more than half a million Nevada seniors. Brown said he admired Scott for attempting to “create a roadmap for a better America.”
