This week, NV Dems Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno and Attorney General Aaron Ford joined President Biden and Vice President Harris as national surrogates to launch Black Voters for Biden-Harris and to lay out the stakes of the Nevada election on a national stage. While there, Chair Monroe-Moreno and Attorney General Ford called into WURD to talk about the key role Black voters will play in Nevada and across the nation in re-electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2024.

- “It’s under the Biden Harris [administration], for example, that we’ve seen the lowest black unemployment rate on record and black wealth 60% since before the pandemic is because of our efforts to elect Biden and Harris to office that we’ve seen to narrowest racial wealth gap in in 20 years,” said Attorney General Aaron Ford.
- “It’s being very intentional and making sure that our Black voters understand the work that this administration has done. There’s no administration that is delivered for Black America like Joe and Kamala have. Donald Trump failed us. He failed us,” said NVDems Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno.
- “Listen, we have a guy named Sam Brown running against our Jacky Rosen. You have a guy named David McCormick running against Bob Casey. If either Sam or Dave wins, trust and believe they will be trying to pass a nationwide ban on abortion,” said Attorney General Aaron Ford.
- “We’re kind of like that [pro-choice] island of safety, which only exacerbates if MAGA extremists like Dave McCormick who is running here and Sam Brown is running in Nevada are elected and support Donald Trump’s very dangerous plan for a national abortion ban,” said NVDems Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno
