Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement reacting to the second GOP presidential debate:
“Tonight’s debate was just further proof that every single candidate in the GOP presidential field is running to push an out-of-touch agenda that would devastate Nevada families. Voters heard directly from the Republicans on stage tonight how MAGAnomics is built on handing out taxes to the ultra-wealthy and corporations, slashing Social Security and Medicare, and pushing policies that could increase costs on everyday Nevadans. The stakes for our state couldn’t be higher. While none of the GOP candidates laid out any plans that would actually help families, President Biden and Vice President Harris are helping to build our middle class from the bottom up and the middle out, lower costs, create good-paying jobs right here in Nevada, and protect our rights and democracy.”
