Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement on the Nevada U.S. Senate primary results:
“Sam Brown is a MAGA extremist who is stumbling into the general election after months of running to the far-right fringes of his party and proving he will pursue a radical agenda that harms regular Nevada families. From supporting extreme abortion bans and plans that would slash Social Security and Medicare to wanting to revive Yucca Mountain for nuclear waste storage, Brown has an extreme record that he will be forced to answer for every single day until he loses again in November.
“Nevada voters know what is at stake in this election and they are ready to reelect Senator Jacky Rosen, who has a proven track record of working across the aisle and taking on powerful special interests to get results for our state.”
