Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement on Oral Arguments in Abortion Medication Mifepristone SCOTUS Case:
“MAGA extremists like Donald Trump and Sam Brown paved the way to overturning Roe v. Wade, opening the door to extreme restrictions on reproductive freedoms that could eventually lead us to a national abortion ban. Now, access to a safe and effective abortion medication that has been used for decades is at risk from the same justices that overturned Roe. We must keep working to elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot who will make sure that we protect Nevadans reproductive freedom.”
