NV Dems Conclude 4-Day Weekend of Service with More Than a Dozen Events Statewide

Democratic Clubs and Caucuses Brought Together Hundreds of Volunteers to Support Local Communities

This weekend, NV Dems hosted a weekend of service across the state to engage volunteers and give back to our local communities. Across four days, Democratic clubs and caucuses hosted more than 15 events from Clark to Washoe, including Douglas, Carson City, Nye, White Pine, Churchill and Lyon, that engaged hundreds of volunteers.

“Organizing is an important tool not just for turning out voters at election time, but to bring our communities together in service of one another,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno. “From food drives, to community gardening, to supporting Veterans and military families, I am always impressed by the dedication of our party to support hardworking Nevadans.”

Events included a school supply drive hosted by NV Dems Native American Caucus, food distribution in partnership with the Just One Project hosted by Young Dems, a Tahoe Clean Up project hosted by Douglas Dems, a highway clean up with White Pine Dems and community gardening led by the Women’s Democratic Club – to name a few!
