Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement in honor of Memorial Day:
“On Memorial Day we pay tribute to the courage of the men and women who gave their lives serving our nation. Their commitment to our country is the reason we are able to enjoy the liberties we have today. We also recognize the strength of our military families who have also answered the call to serve. We must ensure that our service members and their families receive the support and care that they deserve, and we must continue to defend the hard-won freedoms that they’ve sacrificed in order to protect.”
