Today, ahead of the three-year anniversary of Donald Trump inciting a violent insurrection on the United States Capitol, Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno released the following statement:
“Three years ago, we watched as Donald Trump stoked a violent mob that went on to storm the United States Capitol and attack law enforcement in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election. Trump’s continuous assaults on the foundations of our country drove our democracy to the brink of ruin on January 6, 2021, and he’s threatening to throw our nation into chaos once again. Nevadans value our democracy and freedoms and want them strengthened, not attacked. Our voters know how high the stakes are this November and will stand with President Biden and Vice President Harris as they fight to defend freedom and democracy for all of us.”
