In response to Governor Lombardo breaking his word and vetoing a critical budget bill, Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Mallory Payne released the following statement:
“We thought Lombardo had moved past the childish tantrums but he’s gone right back to stomping his feet and putting critical state services at risk for no apparent reason. He’s holding up state worker base pay and funding for higher education and health care just so he can continue his senseless power trip. Lombardo needs to stop the political games and put Nevadans first.”
