In response to legislative Republicans refusing to pass AB521, Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Mallory Payne released the following statement:
“Nevada Republicans continue to recklessly put critical state services at risk and prove they can’t be trusted to do what’s right for Nevadans. With just minutes left in the legislative session, they refused to pass a budget bill that would create jobs, improve our state’s infrastructure, and invest in our veterans, health care, kids, and public safety. After spending the last 120 days playing political games at the expense of families, it’s about time they do their jobs – Nevadans are counting on it.”
