With just three days of early voting left, here’s a reminder that NVGOP Assembly Deputy Minority Whip Danielle Gallant was caught on tape blatantly admitting that GOP legislative candidates are lying to voters by posing as moderates to get elected while actually having extreme and out of touch agendas for Nevada’s hardworking families. Gallant exposed that while she loves “[those] MAGA-MAGA Republican(s)” they “need candidates that present moderate, even though they are very conservative” to win “squishy districts.”
In an interview Republican Assembly candidate Lisa Cole was caught saying that being elected would be “an amazing opportunity to fix problems” for her wealthy corporate clients and “roll back some of the red tape” for them, admitting that her agenda as a state legislator would prioritize her clients’ special interests over the needs of hardworking Nevadans. Unearthed audio found NVGOP Assembly Minority Leader PK O’Neill saying Joe Lombardo vetoed “DEI – diversity, equity, inclusion, which I really think should be spelled D-I-E,” in an attempt to defend Lombardo’s vetoes and mock Nevada’s diversity.
“While NVGOP Assembly leadership is attempting to stack the state legislature with MAGA extremists by deceiving voters, Democrats are laser-focused on the kitchen table issues that matter most to Nevada families,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Claudia Alvarado.
