Nevada Democrats are showing an incredible amount of energy and strength following the Democratic National Convention – and Republicans are noticing. While the Nevada Independent noted that “Trump’s campaign infrastructure still lags behind Harris’ campaign” the NVGOP has long faced party infrastructure issues.
Hear what Republicans are saying in their own words:
- Conservative radio show host, Greg Neft recently said that he sees activity every single day from Nevada Democrats, “[Democrats] want their message out there, and I’m sorry, but versus Republicans, they’re doing a better job of getting their message out there.”
- Assembly Minority Whip Danielle Gallant, who exposed Joe Lombardo’s entire endorsed legislative slate as MAGA extremists presenting as moderates, acknowledged that NV Dems’ messaging is unified saying, “The Democrats [stick] to the same messaging nationally, state, and on individual members; you can see it.”
- Former Nevada GOP state party chair Amy Tarkanian told the Boston Globe that she believed her state’s Republican party “isn’t prepared to fulfill its responsibilities of getting the vote out and assisting candidates.”
While Republicans struggle to unify and find their footing, NV Dems entered the convention riding the momentum from our statewide Kitchen Table Tour, building inroads with voters all across the state, including independents and on-the-fence Republicans. The Western Wall has experienced the greatest swing towards Vice President Harris among battleground states and is uniquely equipped to deliver the White House for the Harris-Walz ticket.
“Nevada Democrats are laser-focused on communicating with every voter across the Silver State and Republicans are noticing our outreach strength,” said Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Carlos Perez. “The road to the White House leads through Nevada, and while Republicans struggle to find their footing, NV Dems are poised to deliver victories up and down the ballot.”
