After receiving zero support from legislative Republicans, Assembly Bill 250 – an overwhelmingly popular bill that would cap drug prices at the rate negotiated under President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act – is heading to Governor Lombardo’s desk.
With 71% of Nevadans supporting this legislation, Lombardo must decide if he’ll stand with hardworking families and lower their health care costs – or sell them out to Big Pharma. And until he discloses his inaugural committee donors that are currently shrouded by a dark money group, there’s no way to know if pharmaceutical executives have tried to buy favors with the governor since the election.
