Trump: “I don’t care about you, I just want your vote”
Last weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris made her seventh trip to Nevada while Donald Trump was on the couch. Because he’s still in hiding, here’s a rundown of some of Trump’s most vile moments in the Silver State.
See Trump’s own words below:
- In June, Trump held a little gathering in Las Vegas where he told Nevadans, “I don’t care about you, I just want your vote.”
- At the same Las Vegas gathering, Trump defended his supporters who rioted at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, saying, “Those J6 warriors, they were warriors, but they were really, more than anything else, they’re victims of what happened.”
- After attempting to steal the 2020 election, Trump told a crowd in Las Vegas that Joe Lombardo would be a “big advantage” for him this time around.
- In a resurfaced video from another gathering in Reno in 2016, now-convicted felon Trump ironically said that a president under felony indictment would “cripple the operations of our government” and create a “constitutional crisis.” Trump has now been convicted on 34 counts of felony fraud.
- And in his first trip to Nevada as Trump’s sidekick, JD Vance said in an interview that he agreed with Donald Trump’s extreme plan to end birthright citizenship.
