Key Responsibilities:
- Work under tight deadlines to create original, shareable videos for social platforms.
- Edit videos using a mix of original footage, news footage, and archival footage.
- Come up with high-potential concepts for new videos.
- Create videos tied to big events, such as rallies, and grassroots events, such as house parties
- Communicate across departments to ensure that videos accomplish collective goals.
- Analyze video performance and use data to ensure that videos have the potential to reach millions of people.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere.
- Experience editing videos for social platforms.
- Experience working with a variety of different cameras.
- Knowledge of lighting design.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of what works on various social platforms.
- Experience filming at events is a plus, as is experience filming with principals.
Salary: $7,500 per month
