Coordinated Campaign: Deputy Data Director

The 2024 Nevada Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking Deputy Data Directors to join our Data and Analytics team. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the coordinated campaign working to elect President Biden, Vice President Harris, Sen. Jacky Rosen, and Democrats down the ticket.

These roles will be based in Nevada and will require in person work.

Role Overview

Deputy Data Directors will be responsible for providing data and analytics support to departments across the coordinated campaign. Deputy Data Directors should be creative thinkers, solutions-oriented, and capable of motivating a diverse staff. 

Tasks & responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Support various data assessments to guide the direction of the campaign
  • Supporting targeting and universe creation 
  • Designing and building reports to support coordinated campaign programs 
  • Collaborating with Training team to train staff and volunteers on data practices
  • Troubleshooting data support requests and flags 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Preferred background & experience:

  • Previous campaign experience, especially in a data and analytics capacity
  • Knowledge of programming languages and software, like SQL and Excel
  • Proficiency with Votebuilder/VAN
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and clearly communicate with others
  • Good personal organization, including ability to meet deadlines and tasks multitask
  • Strong ability to communicate priorities and needs orally and in writing 
  • Desire to ask questions, receive constructive feedback, and grow as a professional
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion in working with staff and other stakeholders
  • Access to a vehicle and a cell phone 
  • Capacity and desire to work long hours in a campaign setting 

Salary: $6,500/month
