Description
The Nevada State Democratic Party is hiring Impact Organizers to ensure that President Biden, Sen. Jacky Rosen, and Democrats up and down the ballot secure victory in November. At their core, an Impact Organizer has a deep understanding of what is at stake in this election; loves driving action in-person; connects and activates people; is ready to build relationships; and enjoys talking to voters. Impact Organizers execute the statewide organizing program in their area of the state. They assist the Regional Organizer with engaging, cultivating, and deploying supporters in-person to share our message with voters. Impact Organizers will report to a Regional Organizing Director and work closely with a Regional Organizer who ensures that voter engagement goals are met online and offline.
Responsibilities
- Collect voter registration, knock doors, and recruit volunteers to participate in our campaign.
- Meet voters where they are and highlight Democratic accomplishments and values in their communities.
- Engage with community to create a relentlessly visible campaign.
- Support events such as community dinners, service events, and other creative events.
- Track and follow up with voters who engage with us to collect feedback.

Salary: this position pays $17.58/hour and $26.37/hour for overtime, approximately $57,135.00 per year based on a 55 hour/week work week. Hours are expected to exceed 55 hours a week as Election Day gets closer. Other benefits include 100% employer-sponsored healthcare, dental, and vision insurance as well as travel and cell phone stipends.
