Coordinated Campaign: Regional Community Impact Director

The 2024 Nevada Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking Regional Community Impact Directors to lead a team of Community Impact Associates and connect with voters about the impact Democrats are making in their communities. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the coordinated campaign working to elect President Biden, Vice President Harris, Sen. Jacky Rosen, and Democrats down the ticket.

These roles will be based in Nevada and will require in-person work.

Role Overview

Regional Community Impact Directors will be responsible for coaching and managing a team of Community Impact Organizers to implement the community impact program in their assigned geographic regions. Regional Community Impact Directors should be creative thinkers, solutions-oriented, and capable of motivating a diverse staff. 

Tasks & responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Hire and manage a team of Community Impact Organizers
  • Develop and implement an outreach in their regions that will lead their team to meet voters where they are and creatively communicate Democrats’ impact
  • Host events to reach voters about Democrats’ accomplishments and help to provide access to resources benefitting their communities
  • Collaborate with community partners to communicate with their constituents and highlight Democrats’ achievements in their communities
  • Work with Political team to identify campaign partners who can support this work and Communications team to amplify
  • Create strategies and systems that lead teams to successfully meet metric benchmarks
  • Ensure staff are equipped with the skills to be successful in their roles
  • Keep your team focused and motivated in a high-stress, rigorous work schedule and environment
  • Consistently meet stated deadlines and communicate with manager when challenges arise

Preferred background & experience:

  • 1-2 cycles of organizing experience
  • Nevada ties and existing community relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Commitment to active listening and collaboration with teammates
  • Experience meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate priorities, needs, and expectations to organizing staff and managers, both orally and in writing
  • Desire to ask questions, receive constructive feedback, and grow as a professional
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion in working with staff and volunteers
  • Capacity and desire to work long hours in a campaign setting
  • Staff management experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Votebuilder/VAN
  • Access to a vehicle and a cellphone

Salary: $2,750 semi-monthly, $3,050 semi-monthly during the Get Out The Vote period
