Coordinated Campaign: Voter Protection Hotline Manager

We are looking for a talented and passionate Hotline Manager to help manage our state’s Voter Protection Hotline. In this role, you will help ensure all eligible Nevadans are able to cast their ballot in 2024 and help elect Democrats up and down the ticket! The Hotline Manager will work closely with the Voter Protection Director and Deputy Voter Protection Directors to implement a hotline as a voter education tool and will assist in other voter education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the State Voter Protection and Access Director (VPD) in developing and leading the program
  • Oversee and execute training of hotline volunteers.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Nevada voting laws and related issues
  • Assist in the development of voter education materials.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the Voter Assistance Hotline by organizing volunteers to continually staff all lines during business hours
  • Monitor and manage Hotline operations and phone system logistics
  • Liaise closely with other departments on the state team and in national HQ

Ideal Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ cycle of experience working in voter protection or related work or 1+ cycles of experience working in statewide organizing or political roles 
  • Experience managing and training volunteers
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate Nevada election laws and regulations 
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively 
  • Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment that requires exceptional organization, creativity, versatility, and problem solving
  • A strong commitment and passion for advancing the Democratic agenda and enhancing voter access

Salary: $6,000 per month
