About the Nevada Assembly Democratic Caucus
The Nevada Assembly Democratic Caucus (ADC) is the official campaign committee dedicated to supporting and electing democrats to the Nevada State Assembly. The ADC is seeking Canvassers to engage directly with voters in targeted Assembly races.
Canvasser
The Canvasser’s role is to engage with targeted voters at their doors and, when necessary, on the phone. The ideal candidate will be personable, energetic, and capable of working outdoors through the peak summer months. This position will run through June 11th, 2024.
Responsibilities
- Engage with targeted voters and the public in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Ensure accurate recording of survey questions and other canvassing data.
- Evening and weekend work will be required.
Qualifications
- Hard working and self-motivated.
- Commitment to the values of the Democratic Party.
- Interest in and knowledge of politics and the Nevada political landscape.
- Access to reliable transportation and a cell phone.
- Previous canvassing experience is preferred, but not required.
Details:
- Compensation is $20/hr.
- This position reports to the Field Director and is based in Las Vegas.
- Flexible scheduling; 5 hour shifts, multiple times per week, as determined by canvasser availability
- and candidate need.
