MAGA Mayhem- Weekly Senate Update 2/9

Another week, another round of infighting for Nevada Senate Republicans. This is Nevada MAGA Mayhem, your weekly update on the latest news from the Nevada Senate Republican Primary.

KEY TAKEAWAYS: This week, the MAGA candidates were all in for Donald Trump and his rigged caucus, no one supported the Senate’s bipartisan border deal because (surprise!) Trump didn’t support it, and Sam Brown is skipping *yet another* chance to face GOP primary voters next week.

🚂🚂 NVSEN GOP CANDIDATES ARE ALL ABOARD THE MAGA TRAIN ROLLING INTO TOWN FOR THE RIGGED CAUCUS

Following Trump’s victory in the rigged chaos caucus last night all eyes are on Trump’s chokehold over the Nevada GOP and how far the MAGA candidates running for Senate are going to earn his support.

Here’s what last night’s chaos caucus results mean for the MAGA-fueled Senate primary:

  • Trump will continue to drive Republican in-fighting, as candidates work overtime to out-Trump each other in hopes of earning his backing and appealing to the MAGA base.
  • By embracing their party’s all but certain presidential nominee, every Senate candidate will be forced to defend his toxic MAGA agenda.
  • The Nevada Republican Party is deeply fractured, unorganized, and stuck in a perpetual mess of their own making.

BROWN CAME OUT AGAINST THE BIPARTISAN BORDER BILL BEFORE THE TEXT EVEN CAME OUT 🗒️✍️❌

This week, extreme Senate Republicans tanked a vote on the bipartisan border security package. Of course, MAGA extremist Sam Brown followed Donald Trump’s lead in opposing the deal before the text of the bill was even released.

After the bill was out, Brown doubled down on immediately opposing the widely supported bipartisan plan that would secure our southern border, crack down on the flow of deadly drugs like fentanyl, and take critical steps to fix our broken and severely backlogged immigration system.

We’ve said it before: Sam Brown would rather use the crisis at our southern border as a political football than support a bipartisan solution. He is running to be a rubber stamp for Trump and couldn’t care less about solving problems or delivering for Nevadans.

LOOKING AHEAD  BROWN’S SKIPPING ANOTHER DEBATE

Next week, the Senate GOP field is set to attend another primary debate and surprise, surprise, Sam Brown is refusing to show up. This makes *check’s notes* zero primary debates that he’s attended this cycle, after being a vocal proponent of them last cycle (see below)!!

Brown is running out of reasons he can’t be bothered to show up to campaign events and face voters!
